Physio-geographical position is defined with components that also represent the structure of the physiognomy of a given area or place. Physical-geographical position is defined by geological, geomorphological, climatic, hydrological, pedological, and biogeographical features of a certain area. Each of these characteristics makes identification or determination of the area in question. Physico-geographical characteristics that are of importance for tourism in the studied area have different value for different types of tourism. Also, some of them are of greater or lesser importance for the tourism development, so geomorphological, hydrological and biogeographical potentials are more significant than others.
